Arrested on 1/24/97 for assault of his wife. A copy of the article can be found in the ARTICLES & INTERVIEWS section. In a June 1997 Neon interview, here is what he had to say about it:
On January24, Tom Sizemore decided to celebrate. The Relic, the schlock horror movie in which the 33 year old actor stars, had removed Evita from the top of the American box office. Sizemore overdid it.
"I never really drank before," he says. "I'd always used narcotics until two years ago, not cocaine, the other one. I came home drunk and asked my wife for the cooking wine. She refused so I said, 'I'm going to the store.' She Said, 'If you leave, I'm calling the police.' I said,' Fuck you.' So she hits 911 and I'm like, 'Alright, you win,' and she hangs up. Minutes later, six police officers were at the door. They shouted 'Step the fuck outside.' I said, 'Suck my fuckin' dick, get on your fuckin' horses..." I started some cowboy motif that I never finished because they grabbed me. I was arrested but no charges were filed. It was embarrassing, and won't happen again."

It was reported that Tom was kicked off a flight on August 26, 2001. Here are two versions:
The Airlines Official version(very c.y.a'ish)
American actor Tom Sizemore was kicked off an Air Canada flight bound for Los Angeles from Toronto on Sunday night for causing a disturbance, forcing the plane to stop in Kansas City. "I believe that [Mr. Sizemore] had too many drinks," said Joe McBride, a spokesman for Kansas City International Airport. "The flight crew thought he didn't need any more drinks. He disagreed with that."
-and here is the unofficial version from THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER:
Pearl Harbor star Tom Sizemore survived an air raid in the flick, but he got shot down after a fit of air rage aboard a Toronto to LA flight. Tom was peaceful and happy enough to sign autographs for two female flight attendants — but somehow, a male attendant got ignored! BIG MISTAKE!! When Tom asked the guy for a drink, Mr. Snippy snapped: You're cut off, Mr. Movie Star! Tom got hot, a verbal battle ensued, the pilot made an unscheduled landing in Kansas City — and bounced Sizemore off the plane! Airport police briefly detained Tom — then bounced him out of the airport!!
-I guess the point being "male flight attendants need love to."

Tom showed off his tattoo of the word HEIDI on his January 2002 interview on The Howard Stern show. He appeared with his girlfriend Heidi Fliess to promote her new DVD and BLACK HAWK DOWN and SINS OF THE FATHER. The radio interview was video taped and later shown on E, the cable entertainment channel.

Tom was arrested on Saturday, December 7th, 2002 for misdemeanor domestic battery. He was charged with punching, shoving and threatening a woman by the name of Brooke Ford. Ford initially claimed she was his finance and the violence occurred while they were discussing marriage plans. She was described by Tom's attorney as a prostitute and has also been described as a X-rated film star by Hollywood.com. Tom's lawyer, Robert Barta, claimed Ford had approached him seeking money, $15,000.00, to "make the charges go away". Ford has also admitted to being under the influence of several drugs during the time of the alleged incident.

On Thursday, May 8th, Tom was arrested(booked in at 11:32 p.m. and released early Friday at 1:20 a.m). He turned himself in with his attorney after a days filming of Paparazzi. At that time, an emergency restraining order has been granted to Heidi Fleiss, ordering Sizemore to keep at least 100 yards away from her and refrain from contacting her. The 16 misdermeanor counts were for injuring, threatening and making harrassing phone calls and vandalizing property.

On Friday, June 6 2003, Tom pleaded Innocent to the 16 charges related to the Fleiss arrest and to 5 charges(domestic violence, battery, violating a restraining order, making criminal threats and dissuading a witness) related to the incident in December. The actor also was formally served with a protective order barring him from contacting the former Hollywood madam, who reportedly is a witness in another unrelated domestic violence case against Sizemore.

On Friday, August 15 2003, Tom was convicted on 6 of the 16(acquited of 10) misdermeanor charges. The first three verdicts declared him innocent of charges of inflicting corporal injury on Fleiss, but he was found guilty of a fourth corporal injury count stemming from an April 8, 2002, incident in which Fleiss said he punched her in the jaw at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The prosecution had pictures of the injuries taken by a friend. The jury also found him guilty of one count of making a criminal threat to Fleiss which put her in fear of her safety, but the panel acquitted him of making similar threats on other days. Sizemore was also found guilty of making obscene phone calls with the intent of annoying her and of minor vandalism. This was after 3 days of deliberation by the jury.

Sentencing was to have taken place on Thursday, October 2, 2003. On September 30, 2003, it was reported that Tom had been in rehab for an undisclosed "substance abuse" and that his sentancing would be delayed. It was delayed twice to Monday, October 27, 2003.

Tom was accused of harassment and sexual battery in a lawsuit filed Friday, September 5 2003, by his former personal assistant. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, says the actor repeatedly propositioned assistant Paulina Briones for sex. CBS, Foward Pass Inc., and Universal Entertainment wrere also listed as defendants in the case.
